Valentine Launay is an associate in the "litigation" team at Gide's Paris office. She specialises in business criminal law.

She assists both corporate entities and individuals before all criminal jurisdictions and at all stages of proceedings.

Valentine usually handles cases involving common law offences (fraud, breach of trust, money laundering) as well as breaches of company law (misuse of corporate assets), consumer law (deceptive commercial practices, abuse of weakness, deceit), tax law (tax fraud) and press law (insult, defamation), as well as issues of probity (corruption, influence peddling).

Before joining Gide in 2024, Valentine completed several internships in leading law firms and previously worked as an associate at Le Borgne - Saint-Palais Associés. She holds a double degree from Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University and a Master 2 in economic litigation and arbitration from the Sciences Po Law School. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2022.
