Thomas Vacher is an associate in Gide's Public "Law, Environment and Energy" team in Paris.

He specialises in public contracts and energy law. He advises companies and public institutions on the award and performance of their contracts, and on all issues relating to public procurement (competitive tendering rules, responding to calls for tender, performance difficulties, renegotiation during performance). He is also involved in projects relating to renewable energy and clean mobility (connection, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles).

Thomas has recently advised a number of companies on the award and performance of public contracts relating to heating networks, port facilities and rail infrastructure. He has also acted for project developers on the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in France.

Before joining Gide, Thomas completed a number of internships with leading French law firms and with Engie's legal department. He is a graduate of the University of Jean Moulin Lyon III in public business law. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2024.
