Practices

Thomas Brusq is Counsel in Gide's "Public, Energy & Environmental" Law team in Paris.

His practice covers all areas of public business law and public property law, with particular emphasis on contractual aspects and land management. He also advises on regulated activities and sports law.

Thomas advises public and private operators on their development projects, assisting them with land management, the design of contractual arrangements and the operation or conversion of their assets. In this context, it is notably assisting the public company (TELT) in charge of building and operating the €8 billion Lyon-Turin rail link, and CDC Habitat / Ampère Gestion in their property transactions. His extensive pre-litigation and litigation work before the French courts and public authorities gives him a comprehensive understanding of the issues at stake in these areas.

Thomas holds a Master's degree in Public Business Law from the University of Lyon III, a Master's degree in Public Law from the University of Bretagne Occidentale, and a diploma from the Institute of Public Business Law. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017.
