Salim Zobiri is Counsel in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team at Gide's Casablanca office.
He advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate law and contract law. Since 2012, he has been advising local and international clients, industrialists and investment funds, mainly on external growth and cross-border investment transactions in the MENA and African zones (e.g. Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Rwanda, Mauritania, Kenya, Benin, Chad and Ghana).
Salim has been involved in a wide range of transactions in various sectors and jurisdictions. He helps the firm's clients to expand their activities on the continent through external growth (share deals, asset deals) or via the implementation of joint ventures. In particular, he advises international clients on local legal constraints on foreign investments and how to structure them.
Salim holds an LL.M. from Benjamin N. Cardozo University (New York) and a Master II in International Business Law from Université Paris V-René Descartes. Cardozo University (New York) and a Master II in International Business Law from Université Paris V-René Descartes. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2010 and to the Paris Bar in 2012.
