Salim Zobiri is a Counsel within Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate practice group in Casablanca. He advises on a broad range of cross border M&A transactions, contracts and corporate law issues.
Over the years, Salim has advised local and international clients on a broad range of cross-border transactions and investment projects in Morocco, and more generally on the African continent. He takes regularly part in M&A transactions involving companies in the MENA and/or Sub-African regions (Morocco, Egypt, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Chad, Tunisia, etc.).
Before joining Gide, Salim worked at ASAFO & Co., KABLS Avocats, an independent Parisian law firm whose practice focuses on African M&A transactions, and a New York litigation firm.
Salim holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate and Securities Laws from Benjamin N. Cardozo (Yeshiva University, New York) and a Master in international business law from Paris V University. He is admitted to the Paris Bar (2012) and New York State Bar (2010), and speaks French, English, Arabic and Spanish.
