Dr Piotr Brzezinski is a legal advisor at Gide Warsaw. He specialises in commercial law, public procurement, and infrastructure and data protection projects.
Piotr advises on regulated markets, in particular on the armament, petrochemical, oil & gas, postal and transport markets. He represents clients in proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber (KIO) and before courts, acting in disputes for both ordering parties and contractors.
For the past 17 years, Piotr has been a lecturer in commercial law at the Faculty of Commercial Law at Lazarski University in Warsaw. He has authored numerous professional publications on issues related to commercial contracts, in particular in such journals as Monitor Prawniczy, Przeglad Prawa Handlowego, Panstwo i Prawo, Przeglad Ustawodawstwa Gospodarczego on issues related to the application of public procurement law, construction contracts and more. He holds the degree of doctor in Law received from the Polish Academy of Sciences and is a graduate from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Lazarski University in Warsaw.
He is a member of the Public Procurement Law Association, for Polish lawyers specialising in public procurement, public-private partnerships and concessions for works and services.
Piotr is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Lazarski University in Warsaw, and from the Institute of Legal Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He also completed a judge apprenticeship at the Regional Court in Plock.
He speaks Polish and English.
