Pierre-Guillaume Sagnol is a Counsel in the "Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate Law" team at Gide in Paris.
He regularly advises on LBO transactions, representing investment funds in both purely transactional aspects and the structuring of management incentive plans, as well as handling transactions for major insurance companies, banks, mutuals, and social protection groups.
Pierre-Guillaume recently advised AXA and ABN AMRO in the sale of Neuflize Vie, assisted Howden in the acquisition of AGEO, Théorème, and SeaSecure, and represented B&Capital in the acquisition of Neoptim. He also advised the CDC and Vauban in the acquisition of Coriance and advised the shareholder family of Axdis in the context of EMZ's investment.
Pierre-Guillaume began his professional career at Nomura as Sales in equity derivatives, where he worked for 2 years. He then joined Mayer Brown, practicing for 7 years as a lawyer specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Law. Pierre-Guillaume graduated from ESCP Europe and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas. He has been a member of the Paris Bar as a qualified lawyer since 2015.
