Admitted to the New York Bar, Pierre Collet is an associate in Gide's International Arbitration department in Paris. His practice focuses on international commercial law, with a particular emphasis on international arbitration and transnational litigation.
Pierre acts as counsel in international arbitrations conducted under the aegis of various arbitration centers (ICC and ICSID), notably in the construction, telecommunications, aeronautics and energy sectors, as well as in disputes relating to the protection of foreign investments.
He is a graduate of Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master I Droit International) and New York University (LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration).
Prior to joining Gide Loyrette Nouel, Pierre gained experience in the International Arbitration teams of international law firms in Paris, as well as in the Office of the Prosecutor of the former International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda in The Hague, the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs in New York.
