Olivier Sommiere is an associate in Gide's "Real Estate Transactions & Finance" team in Paris.

He advises on all aspects of real estate law, including acquisitions of real estate assets, lease negotiations, construction and asset restructuring, as well as litigation (leases, construction, expropriation proceedings, and property sales).

Olivier recently advised the Hammerson group on the sale of its 25% stake in the Italie Deux shopping centre and 100% of the Italik extension, as well as on the sale of the O'Parinor shopping centre. He also advised the Bluespace group on the expansion of its self-storage business in France through the acquisition or leasing of various series of property assets. He has acted for a number of institutional clients in connection with their rental management and for various property companies in connection with litigation relating to geotechnical claims.

Olivier joined Gide in 2020 and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2021. He holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a specialised Master's degree in MOGI from ESTP Paris. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021.
