Laura Lamberti is member of the Paris bar since 2019 and is an associate in the Banking & Finance practice of Gide's Paris office.
She specializes in advising credit institutions, finance companies, investment firms, payment institutions and electronic money institutions on the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to their activities.
She deals in particular with issues relating to the structure of financial institutions, banking monopoly, investment services, payment services and the distribution of banking and financial products. She also assists institutions in the event of legal disputes before the judicial courts or disciplinary proceedings before the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) or the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR).
Prior to joining Gide, Laura worked in the banking and financial regulation department of an international law firm in Paris, as well as in the Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate of the AMF and the compliance department of a major French banking group.
She speaks French and English.
