Karine Imbrosciano is a Partner in Gide's Banking and Finance team in London. She specialises in complex OTC derivatives and structured products.
She has in-depth knowledge of the legal structuring under French and English law of a wide range of financial transactions (derivatives, repurchase agreements and securities lending, structured products, etc.) covering different asset classes (Fixed Income, Equity, Credit, Funds).
Karine also advises her clients on the implementation of new banking and financial regulations, and in particular on setting up collateralisation, clearing and reporting documentation. She has also assisted numerous clients with their IBOR transition projects. Karine also has expertise in restructuring and pre-litigation/litigation procedures involving derivatives and reverse repos, notably in connection with the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
Karine was seconded to a French bank and to a leading US investment bank in London. She is a graduate of HEC and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005 and of the London and Wales Bar since 2008.
