Jiale Tang is an associate in Gide's "Corporate/M&A" team in Shanghai.

She specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment in China, and advises Chinese companies investing in France. Her practice also covers commercial and employment law issues. She works mainly on day-to-day corporate matters, assisting companies with their corporate affairs and following the formalities for opening, changing or winding up.

Jiale advises the NGO Plan International on vocational training seminars for young Chinese women. She advised a national dairy association on setting up a representative office in China for a foreign NGO. Jiale has also advised a world-leading automotive parts group on its day-to-day legal affairs in China. She also advised Icicle, an established natural and sustainable fashion brand in China, on the creation of a subsidiary in France and the opening of a flagship store in Paris.

Jiale joined Gide Shanghai in 2003 and became an associate in 2007. She holds a Bachelor's degree in French and English from Shanghai University of International Studies and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Grenoble II University - École de Commerce Supérieure. Jiale was admitted to the Chinese Bar in 2007.
