Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010, Harold Herman specialises in procedural law and in civil enforcement procedures.
Harold holds a Diplôme d'aptitude professionnelle aux fonctions d'Avoué (diploma of professional proficiency as lawyer) for the Court of Appeal (2008). Thanks to his eight-year experience as an associate and solicitor of the Court of Appeal (2002-2010), Harold has developed in-depth expertise of procedural issues, in particular pertaining to civil proceedings before the Court of Appeal.
Harold regularly assists companies before French first instance and appeal courts, particularly in civil and commercial matters. He is also in charge of enforced collection procedures, and sentence enforcement disputes.
A member of Gazette du Palais (Civil Procedure section) editorial team, Harold regularly publishes articles in his areas of expertise. He ensures civil procedure training sessions for both internal and external audiences, and is a regular contributor to the Paris Bar Training School (Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris).
Harold is a member of the French National Basketball League's legal and disciplinary commission since 2011, and is therefore involved in sports law issues. In particular, he contributes to drafting the League's disciplinary regulations.
