Harold Herman

Harold Herman is Of Counsel and a member of Gide's Criminal and Commercial Litigation team in Paris.
He regularly assists companies before the French courts of first and second instance, in particular civil and commercial courts. He is also responsible for enforced debt collection and enforcement litigation. He has real expertise in procedural issues, particularly in civil proceedings before the appeal courts. He has a cross-functional role at the firm, as he is regularly consulted to help other teams make procedural choices and resolve procedural issues.
Alongside the firm's employment law team, Harold assisted a taxi booking platform before all the appeal courts in disputes with drivers. He has also defended leading sports federations, banks and insurance companies.
Harold holds a Diplôme d'aptitude professionnelle aux fonctions d'Avoué près la Cour d'appel, is a member of the editorial team of the Gazette du Palais and is a member of the Legal and Disciplinary Committee (CJD) of the National Basketball League (LNB). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010.
