Gokcesu Solak is an associate in the "intellectual and industrial property" team in the Istanbul office. She specialises in intellectual property law.

She specializes in intellectual property; advising local and foreign clients on trademarks, designs, copyright, patent, IP litigation and prosecution matters. She handles all types of IP related civil and criminal actions and execute the IP & IT related contract processes.

Gokcesu supports the IP team on seizures and destruction of counterfeit products throughout Turkey on behalf of major multinational companies. She has been particularly involved in complex litigation matters related to trademark rights; and also contractual reviews in relation to IP&IT Law. She represents companies in industries such as luxury goods, cosmetics, and perfume in both advisory and litigation matters.

Gokcesu graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2017. She has been a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2018.
