Emma George is an associate in the Public Law, Energy & Environment team. She specialises in energy law.

She assists and advises both French and foreign companies on all legal issues pertaining to energy regulation (REMIT, ARENH, grid connection schemes, subsidies...) and the structuring of projects (acquisition of renewable projects, integration of renewable energies, optimisation of the connection to the public grid, corporate power purchase agreement, electromobility...).

Emma recently advised Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, AEW and Amundi on the structuring and overall implementation of their projects to install photovoltaic power plants on their real estate assets; Volvo Energy on the regulatory framework applicable to mobility operators in France; and the World Bank and the Madagascan Ministry of Energy on the drafting of decrees implementing the Electricity Code.

Emma holds a Master 2 in Energy Law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University (2017-2018) and a Master 2 in Economic Law, Competition and Regulation from Paris Nanterre University (2016-2017). She is also a graduate of the Institut de Droit Public des Affaires (2018-2019). Emma has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2019.
