Elizabeth Gautier has been made partner in Gide’s Competition and International Trade team in Paris. She specialises in French and EU competition law (cartels, abuse of dominant position and merger control).
Elizabeth has built up significant expertise in anti-trust proceedings before the competition authorities, as well as in compensation claims before the commercial courts. She regularly advises leading French and international operators on their investments and divestments (both within the EU and further afield).
She has in-depth knowledge of the economic law issues involved in commercial relations (both B2B and B2C).
Elizabeth holds a Master’s in European Business Law from the Paris V university and an LL.M. in Competition Law from King’s College London. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010.
