Edouard is Counsel in Gide's "Projects" (Finance & Infrastructure) team in Paris.
He advises public authorities, investors, industrialists and financial institutions on the development and financing of projects in the energy (conventional and renewable power plants, decentralised production), infrastructure (transport, water and waste treatment, social infrastructure, etc.) and telecommunications sectors, particularly in emerging markets (especially in Africa).
Edouard's recent experience includes advising: (i) IFC and the Senegalese authorities on the concession to operate the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Dakar, Senegal (IFLR 2024 Africa Deal of the Year - Projects), (ii) AMEA Power on the development and financing of the 120 MWp Kairouan photovoltaic power plant in Tunisia, (iii) ALSF and the authorities on the structuring of the 2.4 GW Batoka Gorge hydroelectric dam project between Zambia and Zimbabwe and (iv) MSC in connection with the acquisition of Bolloré Africa Logistics.
Edouard is a graduate of Boston University (LL.M in American law, specialising in international business law) and the University of Paris Nanterre (Master 2 in French law and English and American law). He has been a member of the New York Bar since 2015 and of the Paris Bar since 2017.
