Ecem Nur Aksoy is an Associate in Gide's "corporate/M&A" team in Istanbul. She specializes in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments and commercial transactions.

She has extensive experience in conducting due diligence exercises, reviewing and drafting contracts, and providing legal assistance to companies on their daily operations. She regularly advises multinational companies in the context of their investments in Türkiye and deals with all aspects of competition law. Ecem practices data protection law, offering legal guidance on compliance with Turkish data protection regulations.

Ecem recently worked for Groupe Rocher on the sale of the FLORMAR brand to a consortium of three Turkish investors, advised Believe International in the acquisition of remaining 40% stake in Doğan Music Company (DMC) from Doğan Holding, advised AXA Mediterranean Holding on the acquisition of the entire share capital of Groupama Investment Bosphorus Holding A.S., represented Zeplin during the oral hearing held before the Turkish Competition Board with respect to the milestone investigation concerning the labour market.

Ecem holds a law degree from the University of Strasbourg, a master's degree in international business law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and an equivalence diploma from Galatasaray University. She has been a member of the Istanbul Bar since 2022.
