Caroline Lan

Caroline Lan is a Partner in the Corporate team. Together with Jean-François Louit, she heads the practice dedicated to assisting executives, managers, company founders and family shareholders.
She is involved in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets transactions in a variety of contexts (groups owned by investment funds, listed companies, family groups, etc.), particularly with regard to access to capital, management incentives and governance.
Caroline has recently been involved in a number of major transactions, including the acquisition from Icade by funds advised by Primonial Reim of a stake in the healthcare property company Icade Santé, and the opening up of the capital of several radiology groups previously grouped together to Parquest funds. She has also assisted the management in the takeover of the April group by KKR.
Caroline is a graduate of the Institute of Business Law at the University of Aix-Marseille and UConn University. She developed her expertise by spending 8 years with an American law firm specialising in private equity, before returning to Gide. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2004 and to the New York Bar.
