Carine Dymon is Of Counsel in Gide's "Investment Funds & Asset Management" team in Paris.
She specialises in the creation and structuring of all types of closed and open-ended alternative investment funds invested in all types of underlyings (private equity, infrastructure, debt, real estate, impact/biodiversity funds, listed equities and other asset classes) and advises institutional investors (corporates, insurers, pension funds, banks, etc.) and funds of funds by negotiating, on their behalf, the terms and conditions relating to their investment and divestment transactions in all types of funds, on all underlyings.
Carine assists portfolio management companies with all their projects and developments, as well as their shareholders with the strategic monitoring of their holdings in such companies (creation, extension of authorisation, changes in governance, relations with the Autorité des marchés financiers, partial or total disposal, sponsorship/raising of funds, setting up partnerships, etc.).
A graduate of the Master 2 in Business Law and Taxation at the University of Paris II, Panthéon-Assas, she practised for twelve years (2000-2011) in international business law firms as a lawyer specialising in the structuring and creation of French and foreign investment funds reserved for professional investors. She then set up and developed (2011-2024) an 'Investment Funds' legal department within the Legal and Tax Department of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), where she managed strategic projects for the creation and structuring of investment funds and market funds, in France and abroad on behalf of CDC and/or alongside other institutional or investors or its European counterparts, and supported CDC in the development of its activity as a leading investor in funds created mainly in the United States and Europe and in its role as reference shareholder in several asset management companies of CDC group.
