Admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2020, Arnaud van de Putte is an associate within Gide's Competition & International Trade practice group in Brussels.
Within Gide's International Trade practice group, Arnaud van de Putte assists both companies and Governments in the context of anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard procedures (trade defence), as well as European and WTO law.
Arnaud is familiar with the internal workings of the European Trade Policy and advises clients on trade, customs, and EU regulatory issues. Arnaud also advises public authorities and corporate clients on the WTO consistency of various obstacles to trade.
He further focuses on sanctions and export control matters, and on the EU and France in particular.
Arnaud studied at the Université Saint-Louis Brussels (Bachelor in Law, trilingual), the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Master in Law) and the University of Edinburgh (LL.M. in International Economic Law). He speaks French, English and Dutch.
