Gide, counsel to the purchasers of the West Bridge property complex

Gide has advised vehicles managed by Amundi Immobilier and La Française Real Estate Partners, as well as the Caisse d’assurance vieillesse des pharmaciens, on the legal and tax aspects of their acquisition from Ardian and LaSalle Investment Management of the entity owning the West Bridge property complex.

West Bridge is an iconic 28,000 sq.m. office building located in Levallois-Perret, a western Paris suburb. Once the current significant refurbishment works are complete, the asset will include two restaurants, an auditorium, two gardens, a rooftop terrace, as well as co-working spaces over eight floors.

WPP will use the building at its new Paris campus.

Gide’s multi-disciplinary team advising the buyers was headed by Hugues Moreau, partner within the firm’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group, working with:

  • associates Sophie Gillard, Lucie Martins and Capucine Pelissié on the transactional and real estate aspects of the project;
  • partner Laurent Modave and associate Alan Sournac on tax aspects;
  • partner Laëtitia Lemercier and associates Mounia Larhissi and Guillaume Pichat on acquisition financing; and
  • partner Emmanuel Reille and associate Laura Pernayan on competition law aspects.

The buyer was also represented by notary office Thibierge Notaires.
