Arbitration experts from across the world meet virtually in 2020 for annual ’round table’ event to discuss arbitral institutions – are they a necessity or a burden?
On 16 September, arbitration specialists from across business, law firms, arbitral institutions and academia came together for a lively discussion on arbitral institutions, debating the question of whether they are a necessity, or a burden.
For 2020, this annual ’round table’ discussion was held virtually with participants joining from locations including Milan, Paris, London, New York, Singapore and Cairo.
The event was co-organised by Stefano Azzali from the Arbitral Chamber of commerce of Milano, Laurent Hirsch on behalf of the International Business Law Journal / Revue du Droit des Affaires (IBLJ/RDAI) and counsel Saadia Bhatty of Gide London.
