Gide continues its actions in support of the Ukrainian people

Gide Pro Bono will double all individual donations made by the members of the firm, wherever they are, to three charities selected for their significance and their capacity to offer solutions in the field. 

All donations will be matched by Gide’s endowment fund up to €100,000 EUR, thus hoping to reach an overall donated amount of at least €200,000.

Additionally, our Warsaw office is continuing its unwavering Pro Bono support to the displaced people:

• Answering questions posed by Ukrainian citizens on Facebook group “Lawyers for Ukrainians” since Day 1 of the war in Ukraine. 
• Advising on the legal status of the children in Ukrainian orphanages and on Polish regulations regarding immigration, criminal and family law for several specialised European and international foundations. 
• Assisting in preventing human trafficking of children and women fleeing the war into Poland, for several specialised NGOs. 
• Offering free advice through the Warsaw Bar Association.
• Individual involvement of the members of Gide Warsaw in organising transport, finding accommodation and, more generally, providing material assistance to the refugees currently fleeing to Poland.
