Donald Davy is Counsel in Gide's Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on venture capital, private equity and LBOs in the new technologies sector.

He advises both French and foreign investors and growth companies on fund-raising, restructuring, acquisitions and exits, as well as on corporate governance issues. He is also involved in setting up profit-sharing products and in infrastructure and financing matters.

Donald was recently involved in raising funds for Ynsect, Planity, Flowdesk, Datadome, Qarnot Computing and Seyna. He was also involved in the sale of Gymlib, Happytal, Drivy (Getaround) and Klaxit, the LBOs of Consultim, Enoé, Equativ, Noveocare and SPVIE and the restructuring of CityScoot. He is a regular speaker on venture capital and M&A at ESSEC business school and on various training courses.

Donald has worked in law firms and investment funds in Paris and London. He is a graduate of ESSEC (MBA - Grande Ecole) and the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017.
