Benoit Pape is Counsel in Gide's "Projects (Finance & Infrastructure)" team in Casablanca.

He specialises in the developpment of major projects in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. He is notably involved in complex projects in Morocco relating to renewable energy production facilities, mining facilities, waste management plant and port infrastructure. Benoit also advises private operators in the contract management of their projects and the settlement of disputes before Dispute Adjudication Boards.

Benoit has advised various IPPs in relation to the development of their renewable energy projects in Morocco. In the gas sector, Benoit is currently involved in the development of a FSRU and gas pipeline project. He has also developed specific expertise in the management of difficulties arising in the development (Construction, O&M) of major infrastructure projects (STEP, desalination plant) and has represented his clients in the context of dispute resolution boards (DAB) proceedings.

Benoit is a graduate of Aix Marseille University. Before joining Gide, Benoit worked as a lawyer for a company (Vinci Group) involved in the oil and gas storage sector. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
