Sophie Gillard is counsel in the Real Estate Transactions & Finance team in Paris.

She specialises in real estate and corporate law. She assists French and international property market operators and investors, such as the property arms of sovereign wealth funds, AMF-approved portfolio management companies, listed property companies, investment funds and end-users. It operates across all asset classes (offices, logistics, hotels, coliving, etc.) and at every stage of property projects.

Sophie has been involved in a number of acquisitions/divestitures of companies or groups of companies, in M&A transactions (share deals), and of property portfolios or assets (asset deals), both completed and in a future state of completion, their rental management (commercial leases, residential leases, civil leases, etc.), property management contracts (asset/property management), development operations (CPI, works contracts, guarantees, etc.), restructuring operations and joint ventures.

She is a graduate of Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Universität zu Koeln (Germany) and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2016.
