Julien Aillet is Of Counsel in Gide's "Tax" Law team in Paris.

Specialising in real estate taxation, he is involved in setting up and monitoring divestment and restructuring programmes for real estate portfolios of private and public companies, and advises on structuring the acquisition of real estate portfolios for French investment players (SIICs, OPCIs, banks) and foreign investors (open-ended European funds, North American funds, sovereign wealth funds). He also assists numerous banks in managing their tax issues relating to the financing and/or refinancing of real estate assets or companies.

Julien recently advised BNP Paribas on the acquisition of companies with major retail assets in France, and Natixis, CACIB and Société Générale on the financing of office, retail and warehouse property assets in France.

He is a graduate of the University of Lyon III (DESS Droit notarial), has obtained the certificate of access to the profession of lawyer at the University of Assas Paris II and a Master's degree in Wealth Management from ESCP Europe. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1998.
